I agree with most of your analysis, but I found the ideas and ironies sooo worn out. I am 72. The ideas in this movie were discussed during the 70's, in my twenties. I watched with dismay the evangelical right's war on feminism in the 1990's and saw pink once again proliferate everywhere. I don't expect new takes (not just novel applications like Gerwig's movie) from movies (but am delighted when it happens) and I find an irony that flatters the less than literate audience (Gerwig, Tarantino, etc) into feeling comfortable with their undeveloped ideas really irritating and worse, disvouraging: it is so much less that we can ask or imagine.
